So I'm building a new PC with a white/black color scheme. This graphics card matches the scheme very well but I heard that it could get very hot under load. I wonder would it be a good idea to still put it in 2 way SLI. If possible, please suggest me some good cards that are overclockable or SLI or single card that is under 400$.

Personally youd actually get a bit more performance out of a single 970 and extra Video RAM (As 2x2GB in SLI wouldnt actually be 4GB as SLI Video RAM between the two cards would be mirrored) and you wouldnt have any of the issues with SLI such as frame pacing and scalibility. (2x Cards in SLI is only about 80% scaling give or take)

I'd take the GTX 970 just for the fact that there would be less heat flowing through the PC and less worry for one of the GTX 960s damaging somehow...

Also, I think the GTX 970 beats them both depending on with GTX 970 version you take.

Is it able to be over clocked using this build?https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ . And even if I do happen to oc it, would make much of a difference. And I want the fastest and best R9 390x on the market currently lol.
