Just got a XFX R9 280x for my PC, but I've been getting restarts when gaming as fast as 5 minutes after booting up a game. I've been reading around but I need to know if my PSU really is the source of the problem, since it's supposed to be a 1000w PSU. I have a Xcase 1000w-ATX. I had a GTX 650 before this card and I never ran into any kind of power problems. I know for a fact it isn't a temp problem since everything is at normal temps when the restarts happen.
I've also found out that my PSU is pretty dirty, so I'm gonna clean it tomorrow ASAP, will respond if that somehow solves it.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Speccy summary of my PC:
PSU is like pic, but 1000w instead of 900w.
In case my PSU is just plain too useless for this setup, would a evga supernova 750w b2 be a good replacement?
