First suggestion: Send that psu back if you can and get a better one, like Seasonic S12II 620
Other than that, the psu should be pretty standard to set up. Have you installed an atx psu before in a case? Here is a video:

High rated where? At a retailer? Those ratings are garbage my friend. Try to find reviews by professional reviewers. Even Corsair CX series are a top seller, but they are still badly made psus, one reason being poor quality capacitors. What is the budget of your psu and what is your pc configuration?
