Hi, alainz123 RAM is not suited to a CPU socket. It is suited to a memory slot the ram you have put in the description is DDR3 and therefore will only work on a motherboard that has a DDR3 slot.

Believe those are newer sticks that are made with high density memory chips - if so then No they won't work on the socket 775 mobo....Contrary to the above to a degree, RAM (DDR3 can in fact be 'tied' to a mobo/chipset, more in my article here, Item 1
