Battlefront - Graphics settings don't seem to change anything.

As I stated in the title the only graphics settings that actually make any difference are the ones above the actual quality settings e.g. Resolution scale and motion blur. Also shadows don't seem to be appearing for some reason.... Could someone please help...

Computer Setup:
Motherboard: A78m-E35
RAM: 2x4GB Samsung 1333mhz
GPU: Asus Radeon HD 6950 OC (Unlocked to 6970)
CPU: A8-6600k
PSU: 600w Aerocool Integrator (Bronze)
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm

Can you check the game file integrity? Steam/Uplay have a tool that runs to make sure your game files are intact/correct...I'd think Origin would have the same.

In Frostbite engine most of your graphics change only after restarting the game, same with Battlefront.

I already did that earlier today, and nothing needed to download... I went back into the game after verifying the files and the problem is still there.
I should've mentioned earlier that the performance on low is exactly the same as if I put it on Ultra...

For these things It's better to contact Battlefront-related forums. Don't think you'll find an answer here unfortunately as this is very specific game.

But try this: Remove the Battlefront folder in your documents folder, but make sure you don't lose your career progress so perhaps back-up your current Battlefront folder and remove the one in Documents. Then start the game and see if you can change settings to effect.

Just tried that and the game still looks the same... Removing the folder did nothing bar reset my settings....

So if your settings been reset and you change your graphics now everything looks the same and fps is the same?

Ok I've managed to fix the graphics settings part, so that it looks different when I change them.... Just run both Origin and Battlefront as admin.... But the shadows still don't appear
