Hello, I am have been recently thinking about purchasing the MSI GTX980Ti GAMING 6G graphics card but am not sure if I have the right PCIE chords to run this card. I have seen how the card has two 8 pin slots on it, but I only have one 8 pin and one 6 pin. Would my 6 pin and 8 pin chords be enough for this as I have seen that the recommended PCIE chords for running most GTX 980ti cards (not sure about the MSI version) is actually one 6 pin and one 8 pin chord, the same as what I have got. Is this enough for the MSI card? and remember this is the Ti version.

You will need to upgrade your psu to one that has two 8 pin connectors, when you have a gpu like that you don't want to risk it with less power. Something like EVGA's G2 series is a great choice for a high end pc like yours. The 650w variant would be a good option.
