Hello everyone,
so i bought some stuff to build a new computer (CPU,GPU,PSU,RAM,MOBO) anyways i assembled everything and when i tried to turn it on it keeps rebooting every 10-15 seconds and the screen, keyboard and mouse doesn't work. i found out what was the problem, it was the new RAM (4gb 2400 ddr3), i switched to my old ram (2gb) and it worked perfectly i'm using it right now.
so what should i do to get this fixed and use my new ram?
p.s. i tried switching places, using them both, re-installing windows, it just doesn't work.
PSU : 350w
GPU : Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 oc 2gb.
CPU : i3 second generation.
Mobo : Intel H61H2-M4 LGA 1155 Socket.
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits.
- Kind Regards.

Solution
Just try leaving the old in and addint the new - just a guess, but your mobo prob defaults to 800 or 1066 and the new stick prob only has SPD settings down to 1333, so it may not work. With the old stick in though it may drag the 2400 stick down to the lower level, also guessing it will run with problems if at all
