Is my PSU faulty?

Is there a way in which I can check my PSU for faults?
I have been having an issue for the last 3 weeks where the computer shuts down instantly, like the power is being instantly cut. I know the advice would be to get a new PSU but having only bought my Corsair 750W 13 months ago, I'm a little hesitant.
Also are there any alternative suggestions on what the issue could be?

Google suggests a BIOS issue could cause a similar issue yet I have put a new Mobo in just yesterday.

Mobo: 990FXA MSI
CPU: AMD 8320
GPU GTX 980ti
PSU Corsair Modular 750
OS: Windows 10.

Corsair rebrands, http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/psu-manufacturer-oem,2729-5.html

'Seasonic and Channel Well', make the Powersupply for Corsair.
I am pretty sure EVGA rebrands from 'Seasonic or FSP'

But trying another PSU involves buying another PSU which then means opening and non-refundable. Might have to take the risk. Ok suggestions for a suitable PSU, As close to £100 as possible.
