Mixing two different RAMS

Hello,

I have two sticks of Mach Xtreme Technology ram 2x4gb and also 4 sticks of Geil 2GB Value Series PC10660 1333MHz. I've already searched around the internet and apperantly they're both 1333MHz and also both are DDR3. If I insert the two sticks of Mach Xtreme Technology ram and also two Geil ones would that work? My motherboard is Asus P7P55D.

Give them a try as long as you have them - try the 2x4 Machs in slots 1-3 and 2 of the other in slots 2-4 and give it a try, might need to raise DRAM voltage, and might not play but worth a try

Is there a chance of any of the ram sticks breaking or anything simmilar like that? I've never done this before and don't have the budget to get new stuff atm. Also, how do I raise DRAM voltage?
