I am currently in the process of installing windows seven onto my SSD that I am going to be booting from... And I was wondering, after I install my drivers onto the SSD, what else do I need to install or change. Because I dont want my programs to install onto my SSD... (How would I set the path of the ssd install of windows to the program files of the C drive) and wouldnt my libraries (Documents; Pictures; Etc) not appear because they are on the hard drive?

This is my first time so simple instructions would be nice, thanks!

Right.
To 'download' something, you change the default location in your browser(s).
To install something, you choose where it gets installed.
For Doc/music/video/etc locations...see above.

Games, see above. Have the default Steam location be elsewhere, unless you choose.
For regular applications, the only way to default them elsewhere is registry edits. But then, you have to override that for stuff you DO want on the SSD. AV, browsers, diagnostic tools, etc, etc, etc.
Applications don't really take up much space. My current 250GB is only 140GB used space. OS and ALL applications apart from games.
Office 2013, Adobe Lightroom, Paintshop Pro, Video Studio, MS Visual Studio, etc, etc, etc.

Trying to force ALL applications to install...

What OS?
What size is the SSD?

You DO want some/most/all of your applications on the SSD. What size is it? Even a 120GB SSD will hold the OS and a whole bunch of applications. Don't try to force application installs to always go elsewhere.

Games, you put elsewhere as space permits.

For Doc/music/video, see this.
Win 7 & 8: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1834397/ssd-redirecting-static-files.html
Win 8.1 & 10: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html

For Steam games, see this:
In the steam client:

I'm installing win ten on the ssd, and it's 250 gigs. I want all my apps and games on the hard drive except for the ones that I choose (manually put onto the ssd..) I just want to know how to make it so when I download something and install it using the ssd is it will go to the hdd program files. And also, thanks for the other links :)

Trying to force ALL applications to install elsewhere negates a lot of the usefulness of the SSD. That's what it is there for...to run things fast.

Thank you for all of the help! One more question... When I am to go about getting my applications to the SSD... Should I just reinstall all of them onto the ssd? Or is there a way just to move the files directly onto the SSD? and if so, how?

No, they need to be actually reinstalled with the new OS on the new SSD. You can't just 'move' them.
