Are there any differences between using an xbox 360 contoller on PC vs on a console?
Mainly, is there joystick acceleration? I actually want joystick acceleation, unlike many people it seems.

No, the Xbox 360 drivers for Windows are designed so that the controller behaves exactly like it does on an Xbox 360. Microsoft actually re-wrote the input parts of DirectX to make it so.
