Greetings smart people of the interwebs, I need your opinions on this build for my younger cousins which may or may not become a reality depending on their grades this quarter. Anyway, the purpose of this build is to introduce the youngins to the glorious masterace that is PC gaming. They would probably play minecraft, csgo, and other less intensive games for now, but may want to dive into more intensive games as they get older, thus expandability becomes somewhat of a factor. Now lets go over some of the basic necessities and "guidelines" for said PC.
1. Must have a mouse and headphones on top of the chassis but no operating system is needed.
2. Max budget is around 600$ USD.
3. MicroATX case is strongly preferred due to limited space but a larger size can be considered if there's a significant performance difference.
4. I HATE this term, but it should be somewhat "futureproof" as they won't be getting another one possibly for many years.
I can't really think of any more atm so for now these are all the necessities. Thanks for the help!
5. 1080p and IPS preferred.
P.S Is the motherboard i have able to support overclocking for the G3258? kinda confused. Some saying they can with BIOS update some saying you can't.

Here try this out also that Pentium will start to struggle soon enough I did modify some things but I think I made the 600 mark close as possible. The ONLY downfall is the case has a usb 3.0 header and the mobo doesn't have usb 3.0 headers. Now is this a big deal not really cause there is an adapter to use the 3.0 header on the 2.0 header, also the mobo does have usb 3.0 in the rear.

Hiyabusared build is pretty good, but if you are willing to go AMD then you could try this one. I actually have the exact same situation as you. building a cheap budget PC for my cousin (7 years old), I built her brother (14) one now she wants one. I bought the parts yesterday and it came out to be about $320 with sales and rebates.

If you have a micro center near your house, you can get the FX 6300 and mother board for $100 bucks due to their special; if you dont have one you can switch it out for an i3 Processor and Mobo for about ($140ish).

The GPU is also interchangeable, I got the R7 360 on sale yesterday for $80 bucks after mail in rebates, if you can find a GTX 750 Ti for around $100, that is also a good option, I saw it on sale before for $80 but recently that thing has been selling for $120ish. The R7 370 is a good choice but the one you pick is $150, you can get this one for $120 (if you willing to do Mail in rebates)

For the Hard Drive, I actually had an extra 1TB one lying around so I got an SSD, if you don't have an extra HD around, i would suggest you just get a 1TB HD cause a 120gb SSD is not enough for games.

For the PSU, you can actually get the non-modular one for $20 bucks only and you will be using most of the wires anyway.

The monitor, Keyboard and Mouse I'll let you decide since those are more personal preferences, yours was $200 so I would just keep it around the same.
