I have just bought my new graphics card yesterday, I slot it in, installed the Nvidia drivers, restarted my computer, and took it for a test spin. Only to have my computer freeze mid loading screen in Fallout 4. I hard shut down my computer, and tried again thinking it was a driver issue or something, so I checked to see if I missed any driver updates, I didn't, so I tried again. Although this time my computer froze while just navigating the UI. So something is completely off.
I thought maybe its related to the fact that the old drivers I had were AMD.
By the way PC specs are as followed:
AMD A10 7870K
Nvidia GTX 950(Obviously)
Kingston Hyper X Fury 8GB Dual Channel
I already have the AMD drivers uninstalled, and so I'm trying to narrow down the issues here. I tried again for a 3rd time, but this time I used MGSVTPP, and something happened while loading. Could it be somekind of heat issue? Because I've had something similar happen to me with the iGPU in the APU, but some AMD driver update fixed that. I will have to try out a few other to figure this out, but if any one has the answers I need I would appreciate any help.
