Best cable modem/router

Hello what is the best cable modem/router? I need the modem/router to have a slot for the phone cord to go in. I have a larger two story house and have twc 300 mb internet plan.

If you have phone service with TWC, you need to get your gateway (modem/router combo) from them. There are no "standard" routers with client phone port.
Your other option is to get off-the-shelf modem/router (combo or separate), and VoIP service like Vonage for phone.
