Static Noise coming from headphones and speakers in both the front and back of audio jacks.

I just built this computer. It has an AMD 6300, Gigabyte 970A mobo, a 960, a 430w PSU and 8 gigs of RAM. Also it is barely noticable with headphones but is extremly noticable with speakers. I might just buy two ferrite chokes (I think thats what their called) if nothing else works.

this may be to do with the power supply I used to have a 500w power supply and use to here this static/screeching noise until I bought a corsair 600w power supply then the noise stopped.

But id also recommend updating all your drivers and maybe trying multiple headsets until you dive in to buying a new power supply if your needing to save money atm :)
