So a bit ago i tried connecting the tv hdmi into the graphics card, and got no signal. What do i need to configure to get it working? I have windows 7.

Would it be possible to order an adapter to have it work? Would this work? I would put the dvi into the gpu and then have the tv hdmi plug into the adapter hdmi. http://www.amazon.com/Generic-GC2080-Adapter-Plated-Connector/dp/B000FUVNX8

Are there some settings that i would have to configure?

does your graphics card have hdmi out? dvi-d out? you need to list what connectivity you have.

i myself use dvi-d -> hdmi using an adapter cable and it works flawlessly though direct hdmi-hdmi works as well.

also be aware, tv to pc can sometimes be tempermental with hdmi handshake.. you cannot plug it in when the pc is on like you would a monitor. try turning the tv on first then the pc.. see if you get anything. if not, you can try turning the tv off then on to see.

be aware, i am assuming you have the tv input set correctly to the right input. if the tv has a special pc input you may want to try that as well.

while there are of course settings you may need to configure, you should at least get picture.

now a monkeywrench: if you...

now a monkeywrench: if you are using a multi-screen (multi-monitor) setup or are swapping from a monitor to a tv of a different resolution things may not play so nice. you would need to list if you are.
