I've heard as early as APR/2016. Still no word on models or features so pricing is yet to be determined. If they do an enthusiast version with DDR5X instead of HBM2 memory, the prices shouldn't be that bad.

Usually a very high end initial product at a premium price.
Mostly, a GTX970 class performance card will sell at current GTX970 prices. It likely would differentiate by offering more vram.

So far no solid info yet but earliest would be sometime in Q2 this year. Nvidia x70 usually priced at 350 or 400 (not counting overclocked model that can cost much higher) 970 probably the lowest they ever go at 330. Depending on situation nvidia probably want to chase profit instead dug it out with AMD. Since pascal will be on newer node i magine pascal version of x70 will be priced at 400. Nvidia probably able to price 970 at 330 because of very mature 28nm process.
