Hello all, new here, and have a dilemma. My Vcore is way off, but have had no performance issues. Just wondering if anyone here has seen this.
My Vcore reading swings between 0.2 and 0.4 v
Now i know there is no way that reading is correct or i would not boot at all.
I have confirmed that I am getting the same readings in UEFI BIOS, MSI Comand Center, Cpuid HWMonitor, and AIDA64!!!!!!:??:
I have updated BIOS, rolled BIOS back, reset Cmos, re-seated all PSU connections.
Any have any ideas as to what is going on here?
....and If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Vcore sensor is on the Processor, could this be shot over the bough for my chip?:fou:

MSI Krait 970 Mobo (amd)
FX 6100 (3.8 moderate OC)
8 GB HyperX
PNY Optima SSD
Toshiba 500 HDD
Rosewill 700W Glacier PSU

well, if there's no performance issues, i'd say it's a sensor fault. Your system wouldn't boot at 0.4v, so obviously there's something wrong with the voltage sensor. You can try to manually set the Vcore to stock voltage in the BIOS, and see if there's any difference. If there isn't, there's nothing wrong with the genuine vcore.

I agree do you know if the sensor is in the chip or the mobo?
