I'm having the missing Executable problem on steam. Can anyone help?

i have tried everything from deleting the game and reinstalling it to doing what the steam support site but it is not working. if anyone had this same problem and solved it please help. also if this helps the game that this is doing it to is dying light

Try and verify your files if you haven't already. I don't know why reinstalling wouldn't do it, but after its done verifying tell me if it says it found missing files.

it says that all of the files are there and i have done this many times i have other games and that does not happen they might lag a bit but over all they are fine
