Hi all,

I recently finished assembling a custom PC, and after being plagued with problems of booting, I finally got it to work. After installing a fresh copy of Windows 7 (64 bit), I looked to see if my GPU was running with the system, only to discover that the onboard graphics were being used.

Specs:
CPU: Intel i5-4590 3.3 GHZ
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti Strix 2GB
Mobo: ASRock Z97 Anniversary LGA1150

Any help or suggestions very welcome.

Solution
The first thing you'll want to do is go into your bios and change any setting than says whether to use 'Integrated or Dedicated' graphics to Dedicated, save and exit. Then plug your video cable into the graphics cards' output. Turn on the computer. Once you're at your desktop install any drivers that you may need.

I am using HDMI as input, and the thing is, a display only shows up when the monitor is plugged into the GPU, not when it is plugged into the CPU.

Turns out that I had neglected to install the drivers and once I did and rebooted, everything was fine and perfect. Thanks for the help!
