Please Help me upgrade this build

i'm looking to upgrade this pc to play games like the witcher 3 and GTAV ect

My specs are

Gtx 750 ti
Intel core duo 2.93 GHZ
Asus Am1m-A micro ATX
4GB ram
500 w power supply
320 GB HDD
Windows 10
Zalman ZM-T4 CASE

Very poor i know but this build was just 200 pounds

I Don't really have a set budget i'm planning on buying each upgrade part individually across a few weeks i'm opening to spending about 200/350 to upgrade

Then I'd suggest you "upgrade" that immediately. There's no way this would've worked, since C2D uses LGA, which doesn't even have pins to plug into an AMD motherboard.

i5 and a MicroATX motherboard looks cheap in GB. Follow Sam's direction.

So the motherboard is a problem? I thought so what about a gigabyte 78 LMT paired with FX 6000 ?

Ignore that DDR5 question i just got confused Didn't read your comment correctly apologies it is DDR3 compatible

Don't ask me how lol i bought the pc pre built for 200 and yeah i'm planning on holding on to the 750 ti for a bit my main attention is on the CPU and MOBO
