backing up game saves from steam? Also have an SSD for OS and HDD for my games

So I want to back up my saves but have no idea how to do that since I have 2 different drives. When I go to my HDD all I have is a steam folder in my "Gaming" partition (I have another for mass storage) I just want to get my game saves onto my external hard drive just in case.

save locations depend on the game, not steam.

generally games will save in

C:\Users\You\Documents\My Games

some may also save in your steam game's common folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

some may be in your app data

C:\Users\You\AppData
