Hello all, I am building my first computer and am having the computer to boot.

I am sure I've connected everything correctly and have looked around various posts about what problem I may be having, and I have came to the conclusion that it may be a RAM compatibility issue.

My build is:
-Z170 pro gaming ATX mobo
-Intel I5-6600k CPU
-Arctic Freeze 240 liquid cooler
-G skill Ripjaws V 16GB (8GBx2) model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB
-FSP Hyper 500 PSU
No GPU
TV screen for monitor connected by HDMI

Problem:
-no boot, no Post beep, no display
-power is on, mobo LED on the bottom left indicating power is turned on
-DRAM LED is red (which I think indicates there's an issue with RAM)
-My Guess: the mobo's manual does NOT list F4-3200C16D-16GVKB as a compatible model, but some websites (such as pcpartpicker.com https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f43200c16d16gvkb) list the mobo and the RAM as compatible.

If I could get someone's opinion on what may be wrong and how I could go about solving the issue other than buying a new RAM, that would be fantastic. Thank you for your help in advance.
