i5 4590 very high temps

Ambient temperature high around 36 C where I live

idle temp of cpu is around 46 celcius

whenever starting a game it shoots up to 90-100 within minutes..

Is the cpu faulty or is this something I can fix? obviously a decent cooler would be a good start but since Im not overclocking, in theory the stock cooler should be enough

(used a pea sized dot for thermal paste, and stock cooler)

the intel stock cooler is not a good part due to the plastic legs and feet that can snap off or work out. look at the back of the mb make sure all 4 locking clips are pushed all the way into the mb. make sure the cpu is still locked down right. the better cpu coolers use a back plate and 4 screws to keep the cooler from falling off the cpu.
