Hello, I am having trouble with my brand new WD Blue HDD. This week i have bought a SSD that I already installed my new OS in and now I am trying to get my HDD to connect to my system. The problem is, the BIOS does not recognise the HDD and when I checked it just showed as "Empty", after I found out it was empty I started to power up my computer whilst it was connected and it kept getting a windows error. Once i restarted my PC the windows error didn't prompt up but my new HDD is still not being detected. I have used different SATA cables and different SATA ports and yet it still does not work. I have an SSD, two Hitachi HDDs and the WD HDD on my system. Could anyone help me?

This seems very unfortunate, LemonTofu! :( Have you got the replacement from the reseller or our customer support?
Since you don't have access to another computer at this point, I'd recommend you to try troubleshooting the WD Blue externally as I mentioned above. Another thing you could do is checking if you have the latest SATA controller/chipset drivers for your motherboard model. You should be able to update them from the MOBO manufacturer's website. Another thing that might work is resetting BIOS using one of the methods listed here: http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS
However, this would get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so you'd need to reconfigure them afterwards.

If you haven't contacted our customer...
Happy New Year, LemonTofu!

I'm sorry that you're encountering such issues with the WD Blue HDD. :( I'd recommend you to try troubleshooting the HDD externally via a docking station or a SATA-to-USB cable (+adapter). If that isn't an option, I'd suggest you to use a different computer to see if the WD Blue will pop up there properly.
Make sure you check both Device Manager and Disk Management to see if the drive is recognized there. Do you receive the Windows error only when you have the WD HDD connected?
If none of these work and since the HDD is brand new, you should be able to send an RMA request to our customer support and receive a replacement soon enough. Here are a couple of useful links from our website that can walk you through the procedure:

I feel like it's something in my end as I bought the 1TB WD Blue from Amazon and I've already received a replacement copy and yet it still doesn't get recognised, I have looked at diskpart, device manager and disk management and it does not show. I don't think I'll be able to check if the HDD works on another computer as the only computer apart from mine is really old. I'm not too sure what to do at this moment.
