What is better for GTX970 SLI?

What would be better for a GTX970 2x SLI?
A i5 4440, or a overclocked FX8320?
And would it make a difference with DX12?

Wouldn't recommend an FX processor if youre going for a powerful graphics config, DirectX12 is supposed to utilize more CPU cores but past games wont support it.

Basically im saying an FX will bottleneck you unless your games use all 8 cores and they dont. So I would go with an I5
