I just bought all of the parts to build my new computer, the only thing I am waiting for is the gpu which should come in a few days, so now I want to make sure I will have enough sata data cable or other cables that I might need.
here is my build
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/shadybk/saved/

1. the cpu stock cooler has a power connector straight to the motherboard right?
2. the gpu will attatch to the motherboard and all it needs is the power cable and all the necessary power cables come with the power supply correct?
3. the hard drive and disk drive are oem, so they didn't come with anything, both the hard drive and disk drive need a power cable that connects to the power supply right? and they both need sata data cables, and that's it?

so my motherboard says it comes with two sata cables but I don't know if they are 6 or 3 gb and if they are the ones that will connect to the hard drive and disk drive, does anyone know?

So as long as the sata cables that come with the motherboard are the right ones for the hard drive and disk drive I should be set right?

thanks in advance

Solution
3 and 6GB cables are the same thing.
Those cables will work just fine and yes you have everything you need.
The power cables for the drives will be on the power supply cables, OEM drives mean they come with nothing but the drive.
Your case will come with the mounting hardware for the drives, motherboard with the SATA cables, power supply with the power cables.

Solution
1. you put it into the cpu fan header
2. Yes in a pcie x16 slot, preferably the first pcie x16 slot. Yes you power supply should have the required cables
3. yes you will need two SATA cables (motherboard accessories - they are SATA 3/6GBs) and SATA power plugs (from the psu) The screws to hold the drives in will be from your case accessories.
