Hi guys, thanks for taking a look!

When I play games, I will get these spikes. It can happen multiple times a minute, or sometimes only every few minutes. The spike, or whatever it actually is, influences entire connection, which means my Spotify will stop playing, and since I'm using the browser version, it won't automatically start again. I play games where issues like these often causes losses, which makes this completely unacceptable, which is why I need to fix the problem.

I am using an alternate DNS host; Censurfridns.dk - Can this cause any issues?

Furthermore I am on a 50/10 connection, and use wireless. Even under the worst circumstances, I should have an effective 15-25 Mbit connection.

I will be checking this topic frequently all night, and the upcoming days, I'll check as often as possible, and answer any questions you may have, as well as run analytical tools if needed.

Thank you so much for your help, and happy New Years!

- Jonas

Your router DOES have an antenna, its just inside.

I see multiple walls, and some room in between.
Is it possible to move the modem/router along the wall to the right, and then up a little on that wall?
Any reorientation might help.

Yeah, I will give it a go right away.

I have returned my DNS to the regular one as well. Got some DNS prope errors once in a while, maybe there's a relation.

There is now no problems whatsoever. Is there a way to improve the way my WiFi works? It's very inconvenient to only use cable, as I can only set up the router in my bedroom.

So, we've pretty much determined that the WiFi is the issue.

Antenna orientation, distance, turn off the microwave, tell your neighbors to not use their WiFi....

'router in my bedroom'

What is the whole network setup like?
Where is everything? Modem, router(s), PC's, etc, etc.

Bottom line, though...WiFI sucks.

Believe me, if I could run a cable to my livingroom, I would do it in a heartbeat! Unfortunately this is what I have got to work with.

My router/modem is in my bedroom, it is a Cisco EPC3940L. It has not got an antenna, and from what I can gather, it is not an option either.

I have attached a picture showing the physical location of my devices. Unfortunately, a higher resolution was not possible. If you cannot work out the numbers, then it is approximately 5-6 meters between the two setups.

Will a microwave that has power, but not in use, be able to disturb the signal even the slightest?

In regard to neighbors etc. I have checked the different channels and such. Everything looks fine; I'm the sole user of my current channel.
