Alright, I am new here, first post and happy new year to everyone. :)

Currently as you know, most people have Intel 4th generation CPU in their computer. Recently Intel released Broadwell and Skylake, 5th and 6th generation. I have some questions:

1/ Is it worth to go to a new generation of Intel CPU or I remain on 4th?
2/ If yes, which one you recommend, Broadwell or Skylake?
3/ Do you think the 4th generation CPUs can still be used until the next 5 years?
4/ Are you planning to get either Broadwell or Skylake soon or already owned one?
5/ In my country, both Broadwell and Skylake are not available yet. I think in some months they will start selling them. Why it is still quite difficult to see them on the market in many countries? (I see on very few famous hardware seller websites, they are being sold)

PS: I play games sometimes.

Thank you

Solution
Broadwell (1150 - higher end models) sort of fell by the wayside with the release of Skylake - Broadwell-E is 'scheduled for this year on the 2011 v3 socket

Legenda in Aeternum
1. Haswell (4th Gen)is fine or can go to Skylake
2. Really either/or, Skylake is newer, costlier and uses DDR4 (can go DDR3 but defeats the purpose)
3. Yes imagine they'll still be running for some time - 5 years may be pushing it though
4. I've got a pair of Haswell builds and am working with a Skylake now (6600K, Hero, 32GB of Trident Z 3200 (Haswells in sig)
5. Depends on where you are as to how soon they begin to start importing them
