Problem with PING spikes every 10 seconds. Every game I play, on my newly built PC.

Since building a new PC, in every game i play (bf3, crysis etc..) i get these really nasty ping spikes every 10 seconds. Then after about 10 seconds of lagging, it returns to normal, then PING spike again etc.. This happens endlessly. Never had this problem with other machines. How do i stop this?

update you ethernet drivers/reset modem, if using wireless, i had the same issue and switched to wired, if that doesnt help, contact your isp, might be a issue on them
