I'm planning to buy an i5 4690(non k) and a gtx 970(msi gaming 4g). Will I be able to run demanding games like AC Unity/Syndicate, COD, BF, GTA5, Crysis3 etc. on ultra settings with a good fps??

Solution
I'd say it should be good for at least a couple of years but given that Pascal is being promoted as "revolutionary" and "game changing" you never know what it will be like in 3+ years time since game developers will no doubt take advantage of this performance boost which would in turn redefine what high and ultra graphics was taken to mean :)

You would meet the recommended requirements for Syndicate on the GPU but would be be midway between the minimum and recommended for the CPU.

What's your definition of "good fps"? 30 / 45 / 60 / +++ ?

Anywhere between 50-60. I can expect atleast that much fps…

Yes, you most likely can however you can probably also expect something to be lacking in at least of a few of the games given that you fall short of the recommended system on some of them.

Yes, I get that as its not a high end build.

Also, I wanted to know that for how many years this build can run games at high settings? I hope at least 4-5 years……
