I've seen one or two such questions on this forum, the answers to which haven't applied or worked for me, so I thought I'd see if I could get some suggestions.
PC started showing first signs of issues when, over the course of only one hour, my apps would hang/not respond for around a minute. So I restarted and it never made it to Windows. This was two days ago.
Spent ages researching how to use BIOS in Windows 8 using the MSI bios interface (it's quite fancy and has a mouse cursor and everything). I have a Windows 8 CD and it gets as far as saying 'preparing automatic repair' before fading to black and staying there.
I think it's save to assume that I've done everything I can as far as trying to boot from my CD. Not 100% sure there but I've tried lots of different ways and it never works, so I think I need help diagnosing each component? What do you guys think?
