What's your opinion on the Devil 13? If you could get your hands on it for $450 would you actually buy it? I've seen it preform right around the 295x2 mark and it seems to be on par with a CF 390x setup... so I just want to know your guys opinion on it, for curiosities sake, and if I must be honest I truly am considering picking one up, despite its high temps and ridiculous power needs... but I am curious as to what the community thinks on it as I've never seen anyone brave enough to pick one up for their own rig, most people complain of the 60bB on load.

Used one recently for a customer build. Performance is good. Thing runs hot and loud. I would never buy this for a personal rig would go with 390 in cf before this nasty card any day. Most games support CF but for the ones that don't a single card solution is better. as with all custom PCB cards once they are no longer sold the mfr will not keep much stock if you need to RMA or get a replacement they will most likely give you something diff rent. This has happened to me many times with Asus and the 295x2

So the cooler temps and (possibly?) less noise would be worth an extra ~$210?

If you like the price I would go with the 390x2 your call. I just don't like it and don't expect more then a year out of them before they fail.
