I have an i7 4790 non k version. should i get a cooler or stay with the stock? I get 40 degrees celsius when i just browsing on internet and no more than 60 when gaming medium setting games
This is optional as the Intel stock cooler in your situation is sufficient. However an aftermarket CPU cooler will improve your systems airflow and will should operate more silently than the Intel stock cooler.
Unless you live in extremely hot climes, the stock cooler is entirely adequate for that CPU. It is relatively quiet and does a good job as shown by your own temp results.
