AMD FX-8350 True Eight Core ?

Solution
Depends on who you ask. Some see 2 cores in a module as not being full cores since they have to share certain resources. This is what AMD is being sued over.

It is a true 4 module CPU with 8 integer cores and 4 FPUs.

There is no "definition" of core anywhere. A core can be only integer unit, integer and FPU, a CUDA core which is entirely different as well as a Stream Processor (which is again - a type of core)
