Hello guys, I've had my current PC for about 3 years and it is having a hard time keeping up with current games.

My pc is Dell XPS 8500, and i've been looking for a new graphics card for it, but I am having a hard time understanding which ones will be compatible with my PC.

If it isn't asking for too much, I'd be very greatful if some of you could come with some suggestions to which specific graphics card I should be looking to get.

My Price range is around 150-200 euro's. I dont want anything more than to be able to play current games at around low-med settings.

Those specs should be fine. Now as far as graphics card make sure you have a good psu, your motherboard has a PCI-E X16 slot on it, and your case has room, if the first one is too big you can use the smaller one I selected.

It looks like your best bet is a Refurbished GTX 960 from newegg, or a new GTX 950 if you'd like it new or on the lower end of your price range. As far as AMD goes, I don't really know about their cards. Another thing is to be sure you have the right amount of wattage on a high quality PSU for the model you choose. P.S. The price might not be quite right seeing as how i'm working in USD.

Thank you for your answer, but the thing is I am a complete beginner when it comes to pc hardware, and even with your rather specific recommendations im still uncertain what to pick. I was looking for something maybe more specific if you could link certain graphics card you had in mind that'd be great. But thanks for the help again, i really appreciate it.

The way I see it you have two options on the high end of your budget, seeing as how jumping down to a GTX 950 from a 960 doesn't save you much I figured I'd just shoot on the high end. Anyways your two main contenders are these two, the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 GV-N960WF2OC-2GD which has higher clock speeds than other GTX 960 cards in your price range at a lower price, and the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 GV-N960IXOC-2GD which although cuts down on clock speeds it will fit in smaller spaces if you're lacking in room. Also what amount of memory (RAM) do you have? I noticed your PC comes with an option of up to 16gb however if you have less than 8 gb that may be limiting performance. Two other things, make sure your power supply has enough wattage it suggest 400W but 500 would be optimal, also if you can find out the model i'll check if its high enough quality for this. Lastly the pc page said it came with an intel core i7 which should be more than enough, but if you could tell me what cpu you have and it's clock speed just to be safe, that'd be great!

My cpu is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz and I have 8 GB ram.

Man, I am really grateful to you, for taking the time to help me.
