Sometimes I leave my PC unattended and when I come back it appears to be in 'sleep mode' however in my setting's i've got this set to never.

Also I can't wake it.

When I turn it off then on again I don't get the blue power light for a few goes, when the power light does come on - so does the screen.

How can I test there is something wrong with my power supply before buying a new power supply.

The issue explained above is very akin to your OS causing issues with the components but regardless it's best to follow up a troubleshooting guide. Have only the essential components connected to your motherboard, i.e OS drive, GPU(iGPU if your motherboard supports onboard graphics), PSU and try to fire up the system. If you've left out some devices from your build during the aforementioned procedure then the issue may be your PSU. You can also borrow a unit from your friend that has the appropriate wattage for your system and try that out as well. IF it works then the PSU you have is faulty.

I would also like to ask, what is your full systems specs? Include your OS as well as Windows 10 apparently has a hand at these issues most of...
