I've recently built my desktop and noticed that whenever I speak on Skype or try to record myself, any output sounds I hear through my headset is also recorded through the microphone. At first I thought it was my headset and tried out others, but in the end I still got the same problem. I have looked at similar threads and tried out their solutions but so far nothing. Hmmm, you're on Windows 10, the bane for all realtek audio users. Have you tried following this guide

Why would the audio out go to the mic in with listen on, it would go the other way.
