I am nearing completion on my build. I ran into a problem with my video card. I have an ASUS x99 e WS/USB 3.1 motherboard. The first slot is extremely cramped for the R9 Fury X card. It is actually interfering with my memory flick switches (no idea what they are called). I can probably live with it but it would be so much better for servicing in the future. I am not planning crossfire for a couple of generations.
Can I mount the card in 2nd or 3rd slot without any major downfalls?
