First off, what interface does the Sound Blaster 16 SCSI-2 CT1770 ISA card usually have? Panasonic, Mitsumi, Sony, etc. And are is there a way to disable the SCSI interface via jumper so that it doesn't consume any resources?
I've heard the Panasonic connection is harmless as it does not use any additional resources, but how can I tell the difference between the different brand interfaces and know which is which?
