Hello. To start this off, I don't kn ow much about PCs or PC Building. I've been wanting to upgrade my PC GPU because I haven't been doing so well in gaming. I don't know what to buy or where to start, so help!
Specs:
GPU: GeForce GTX 750
CPU: AMD FX(tm) 4300 Quad-Core Processor
Memory: 8.00 GB RAM, (7.98 GB usable)
Resolution is 1920x1080

Solution
Hello! If you are upgrading here is a list I have put together:

High End (Costly):
CPU: Intel: i7 6700K / i5 6600K | AMD: Not Reccomended
GPU: GeForce: GTX 980 / GTX 970 | AMD: R9 380X / R9 380

Mid-End (Budget-Friendly):
CPU: Intel: i7 4790K / i5 4690K | AMD: Not Reccomended
GPU: GeForce: GTX 960 / GTX 950 | AMD: R9 370 / R9 360

PLEASE NOTE:
- AMD is not my expertise, so I will not be able to help very much with info on their GPUs & APUs; I will be able to help more with Intel & GeForce as I have more knowledge and have personally used both of them.
- You may have to upgrade / change your motherboard & PSU for some of these upgrades.
- i7s are made to do work as well as gaming, i5s will be completely fine for gaming.
