I am having a rough time with the new Win10 restore program. I loved the XP version, and relied on it for when things would go south to fix problems.
The Win10 version does not include a scheduler to save restore points as the XP version did. As a result, I have picked up a virus that my Avira, Avast, and Malwarebytes programs do not detect (pop-ups appear in a new window).
When I go to use the new system restore program, it says no restore points available. It only stores a point when a change is made to the system; such as a new download or something. I need to schedule a new restore point every few days. I have the image backup setup, but to use it, all programs will have to be reloaded. That would take a month!
Does anyone know of a restore program that works like the old XP one did?
