are all the internal hard drives compatible with any windows??

if yes then why they mention compatibility for windows in specs of hard drives??

what else compatibility of the internal hard drive I should be concerned about for best performance (only in gaming) ???

Solution
They're both bare drive packs.
You get the drive & 4 fixing screw's.
You will need a sata cable.

Speed wise barely a difference.
Seagate is normally 10% cheaper
Seagate is a fair bit quieter under use
WD is widely regarded as better quality & more likely to last past the warranty period.Personally I disagree as I've never had a problem with Seagate drives but have with WD.

All HDD is compatible with windows 7, 8 , 10 versions now, WD HDD is coded color according to their use, color blue is for desktop, red is for NAS hard drive, violet for surveillance cam. Seagate barracuda compatible in all windows and system unit with all type of mobo that have a sata connector. I recommend WD hdd blue it is mark as good of the market today, if you think that you have a bigger files to be loaded prefer to buy a 2TB WD blue

I have had a problem with the Seagate drives and Windows 10 Upgrade, before the upgrade the OP would find all my drives no problem. I have two 2T drives. The drives have not had much use. The computer sees one but not the other. The system will also see a WD drive that is much older. Not sure what the problem is yet.
Does anyone have any Ideas? I don't understand why one is working and the other is not even found. I have updated all drivers also. SATA drives all.
