Hey people,
so my display driver is causing the bsod because of which im not able to play games or do any work.

I downloaded the drivers from the acer support website and installed but still the error persists. One way of fixing by turning the color mode from 32bit to 16bit and because of this the system does not crash but i can play games.

So i need ur help in fixing this issue.

Laptop Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 @ 2.0Ghz
2.99 GB of RAM
Graphics card: Mobile Intel 965 Express Family
OS: Windows XP - i can explain that if u want!!

That integrated graphics card/chip provides very little processing power and use very small amount of memory. This could be the reason why 32bit won't work. Another thing is that the driver for the graphics chip is very old and may not support some games properly. It sounds like 16bit is the best it could do to allow you to play games.

But George,
when i had win vista (before formatting), it was working perfectly in 32bit!!
it all started when i had installed win 7 on it and then removed it and installed win xp thinking it might solve the problem but it didn't!!
