Can anyone please help me? Yesterday, I did my weekly maintenance using CCleaner, ASC 9 Pro & Smart Defrag. After rebooting my laptop, i noticed a sudden increase in boot time and after logging in, also a sudden HUGE increase in RAM usage, from the normal 35-40% to about 96% even when my laptop is idle. After restarting several times and Uninstalling some apps including ASC 9 Pro, the RAM problem still won't go away, The only time it does is when i either run an antivirus scan (Panda Free AV) or an ASC Scan (already uninstalled) and after that, The RAM goes back to normal until i restart my laptop again. Also, the RAM cleaner only reduces RAM usage by about 20% (not much help). This is very irritating since i optimized my laptop to be the gaming-type. I don't know what might have caused this that's why i came here for help. I tried to do a system restore but i forgot it was turned off. Here are some screenshots of the task manager, I hope this would help:

I know this might not be enough to find out the cause, so feel free to ask me if there's anything i could add. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, I can't help you any more since I have no knowledge of this issue. If you strongly believe that your maintenance programs messed with your system, would it help if you did a system restore before that date?

Since you have a 64 bit OS, it would surely help to install some more ram, preferably of the same type as the one already installed, in dual channel mode. In this way, you won't have any issues in the future when the memory usage increases. This will help you whether you solve the problem or not (unless the memory usage goes on increasing, which would be really odd).

I am not sure how your weekly maintenance might have affected the ram usage. How long has your laptop been working fine before this incident? Did it happen before?

The first thing I noticed is that you might not have enough memory. Is your Operating System 32bit or 64bit? If it is the latter, an upgrade could be useful for your system.

There might also be an issue with "System and compressed memory", I am not sure if yours is normal or beyond the limit. Check:
System and compressed memory
Windows 10, EXTREME memory usage

This is the first time something like this has ever happened ever since i installed Windows 10. I don't exactly know the cause either, all i remember was running ASC's Internet Boosting Tool, may have messed with some Network settings and then doing a Defrag, after reboot, my RAM just skyrocketed after I logged-in. Btw, have you noticed something weird about the "Service Host: Local System (Network Restricted) (8)" or "svchost.exe"? Is the memory used normal? I suspect that might be the problem since it has "Network" in the name although i'm not 100% sure. Here's my system info: http://puu.sh/mi1aO/334d13182f.png
