My Motherboard has stopped playing sound and my first thought was defective speakers so I tested them on an MP3 player and they work.
I then tried putting a set of working headphones into the MoBo socket and still nothing.
Updated the audio drivers, still nothing.
Despite some promising (looking) google hits on MoBo Diagnosis, the links looked sufficiently suspicious that I didn't follow them - WTF is Pythonanywhere anyway??
Whilst I haven't performed any surgery yet - ordered an SSD and will perform when that arrives - what's my best course of action?
1. Is there any recommended diagnosis software?
2. If it's not a loose connection.....
3. MoBo still under warranty but presumably I might as well just start afresh if it comes to that?
4. Would installation of a dedicated soundcard resolve?
Thanks in advance.
(Oops - thought I'd put this in my signature block......)
