Hi,i want to.know why my ram is showing 400 mhz instaed of 1333mhz
here is my pc informations:
Cpu:e5700 3ghz
Gpu:gtx 750 ti
Ram:4 gb kingeston ddr3
motherboard:asrock g41c-vs
OS:windows 7 32 bit

Hello! Welcome. Is it showing that speed in the bios or in some 3 party program like cpu-z?
Do you have any other memory sticks installed best the 4gb Kingston.

Oh i see that's different then. . What's the model number of the memory? Should be on the stick itself.

Front Side Bus i.e. with 775 mobos to run 1333 DRAM the whole rig (FSB) needs to be at 1333 which can OC earlier CPUs that are based on a 800 FSB

Guessing your FSB is at it's default of prob 800, the DRAM is at the default 400 (this is DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so default (400) x 2 = effective or 800

Yes, that is true freq which explained before- so it's effectively running at 800 since it's DDR
