Hey guys,

I'm pretty a newb by building a pc which means it's the first time.
And I would kindly ask you if you can tell me if this build is good or not.
Before get starting i just want to say it's for gaming with extrem little school and stuff.
I want to play Witcher 3 and so on.
And that i can use this build for the future for atleast 5-7 years without changing allot

So lets go:

Mainboard:
Gigabyte-GA-H97-D3H-Intel-H97-So-1150

CPU:
Intel i5 4460

CPU FAN:
Be quiet! PURE ROCK TOWER

GPU:
MSI Geforce GTX 960 4094MB gaming

RAM:
8 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600 DDR3

Wattage:
500Watt Be quiet! Pure Power L8 Non-Modular 80+ bronze

Storage:
250 gb ssd samsung
1 tb WD blue

Media:
A normal dvd reader

Cage:
Corsair spec-03

OS:
Win 7 ultimate

Ps:well that's my overall build .
By the OS I'm not quite sure should i go for win10?
And the ssd is a must have or not?
And should I go for 16 gb RAM?

PSS :sorry for my bad english it's not my native language...

SSD is a must have and other than that i would suggest you go for the msi gaming 2G, the extra VRAM does not make any difference unless you're playing anything higher than 1080p. Overall it's a great build. And yes, get windows 10. You don't need a cpu cooler for a 4460, the stock cooler will do just fine, but i do not think this build will last you as long as you expect, sure it'll work, but i doubt it'll be able to play any games at max or high in 1 or 2 years.

It's a good build, well balanced. An ssd is not essential but very nice to have, once you have used one you wont want to use a pc without one. The only thing it does in games is reduce load times.

Lasting 5-7 years seems unlikely though. Whilst you might get 5 years out of the cpu but even that feel a stretch the 960 I would expect to want changing in 3-5 if gaming at 1080p.

Your cpu should be fine, but maybe later you can upgrade you gpu, but it really just depends on the games that are released for now, you should be fine, cheers.
