I'm about to build a gaming system based on an oc'd i5-4690k and initially one GTX 970. I'd like to make sure that the psu is good enough support SLI in the future as with possibly to oc GPUs and memory.
I've not decided on a particular model of my GPU but want to get GTX 970 as it's within my budget.
Please can anyone advise me as to wattage of power supply I will need.
i5-4690k (~4.5GHz oc)
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Game Plus
GTX 970 (2-way SLI down the line)
12 GB DDR3 1600MHz (already got 4 from an old build)
EVGA SuperNOVA G2
Part picker shows an estimate of 510W with all other components. I'm considering either 650W or 750W. Will it be good enough? I'm not that bothered whether I can oc cards when SLI'd.
This forum already provided me lots of advice although this is my first post. Thanks in advance.
