you will need a different cooler, the I3 3220 have about 55W TDP and the I5 2500 have 95W
try a cooler like Raijintek Aidos or Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo, they are cheap and have good performance, and if some day you want to upgrade the cpu you have a better chance to reuse the cooler again
